Membership is open to any undergraduate at The Ohio State University. Don't think that just because you are not an animal science major that you can't be a part of this club. In fact, around 50% of the club's current members are majoring in other areas in the College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences or in other colleges.

If you are interested in the livestock or meat industry, you should come to a meeting and see if the club is right for you.

New club members will go through a brief member education process. They will learn about the history of the Saddle & Sirloin and Block & Bridle clubs, get to know the club members, and present the club with a personalized block that will represent their membership into the club.

Being a member of the largest club on campus does have its benefits. S&S has its hands from everything to hosting a professionally run steer show to catering the finest pork chops in the land, and traveling to different cities around the country for the annual National Block & Bridle Convention.

Yearly membership dues are $15. Feel free to email our officers, advisors, or membership chairs for more information. More information can also be found at our many displays in the lobby of the Animal Science building.
